Patient Education
GSF is committed to providing holistic care to our patients beyond corrective surgical and dental procedures. Our interdisciplinary approach includes speech therapy and pyschosocial support as well as educational and preventive programs. We have created videos for patients and their families so that they can learn more about cleft care.

GSF seeks the highest standards of preoperative planning, patient education/counseling, patient/team safety, and long-term follow-up.
Cleft Workshops
Global Smile Foundation runs the international Comprehensive Cleft Care Workshop (CCCW) as an extension of our mission to address the pressing need for sustainable cleft care in developing countries where access to such care is extremely limited. The CCCW team works to improve access to state of the art cleft care by providing training and education for cleft care practitioners around the world.
